One of the best hunting hacks you can use is to save the tarsal glands off of a buck for future use. Once they have been removed, tie a string around them and freeze them in a zip lock bag. Each time you want to use them, simply pull them out of the freezer and take them to the field with you, and re-freeze after hunting. Tarsal glands can be used as a drag on the way to your stand, or hung from a branch for the scent to disperse while hunting.
